Gasthaus Zum Hirschen - Oberrimsingen

We found a lovely place to rest on our way from Germany to France. This hotel is conveniently situated close to the highway. Our room was large, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was spacious. the owner and staff were friendly, helpful, and funny. We had a fantastic breakfast that was both fresh and delicious, and it was table-service style. We had reliable free WiFi and there was private parking with locked gates at night. We enjoyed our dinner, which was prepared by the fantastic cook.

Regrettably, we read inconsistent information about whether there was junk in the hallways.

The location was perfect, close to the highway and easy to find. There was ample parking with a safe and secure lot. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for local attractions. The hotel facilities were well maintained and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options to choose from.

Nothing not to love. This hotel had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Spent Christmas at this hotel and loved the cozy atmosphere and the delicious meals. The staff was helpful and kind, making sure that we were comfortable throughout our stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. We especially loved the nearby hiking trails and the beautiful winter scenery.

The room we stayed in was a bit on the small side and lacked some amenities that we were used to, like a mini-fridge or a safe where we could keep our valuables. Additionally, the pillows were a bit uncomfortable, leading to a less than stellar night's sleep.

We had an amazing time during our Christmas stay. The room was spacious and cozy, perfect for the four of us. The location was ideal, close to all the Christmas markets and attractions, while still being off the beaten path. We loved the breakfast spread, with lots of local options and a warm and welcoming host who made us feel at home. The highlight was the delicious dinner at the in-house restaurant, with fresh organic produce and farm-to-table dishes that were the best we had during our trip.

The lack of a lift or ground-level room, which made it a bit difficult to carry our bags up the stairs. we would have preferred a seating option for everyone in the room, as the cozy chair was a bit too small for all of us.
